WMO Centenary

 

Portuguese Timor - stamp WMO Centenary 1973The centenary of the World Meteorological Organization, founded in 1873 as International Meteorological Organization, was celebrated in 1973. Many stamps were issued, depicting different sorts of weather, weather forecasting and related subjects.
