Universal Declaration of Human Rights
The
Universal Declaration of Human Rights is the basic international pronouncement
of the inalienable and inviolable rights of all members of the human family.
The Declaration was proclaimed in a resolution of the General Assembly on
The UN Commission on Human Rights (UNCHR) set up a
Universal Declaration of Human Rights Drafting Committee. Members of this
committee were Eleanor Roosevelt (

year many activities are organized around the world.
