UNEP 10th anniversary

 

Union of Soviet Socialist Republics - stamp UNEP 10th anniversary 1982In 1982 the 10th anniversary of UNEP was celebrated. As part of this commemoration of the 1972 Stockholm Conference, UNEP initiated an environmental awards programme to recognize prominent individuals or major organizations for their contributions to the cause of the environment.
